Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Mustang, was battling for position inside the top 10 late in Saturday evening’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) event at Kentucky Speedway before sustaining damage to the right-side of his car following contact with the outside retaining wall. Bayne ultimately was scored with a 15th-place finish.

Roush Fenway Racing rookie of the year contender Ryan Reed ran a solid race Saturday evening at Kentucky Speedway, improving five positions in the closing 30 laps of the race to cross the finish line 11th in the No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop DiabetesSM presented by Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang.

Tundra drivers grabbed four of the top-five finishing positions in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion, can become the first Ford driver to win three straight NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races since Rusty Wallace did it in June 1994 (Dover, Pocono, Michigan). Keselowski, who is on the pole for tomorrow’s race, was also fastest in today’s first practice session.

IndyCar announced today it is returning to Brazil next season and will sanction a Verizon IndyCar Series event at Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in the capital city of Brasília during the 2015 season. Hulman & Company CEO Mark Miles and Maruska Souza Holanda, President of Terracap, a government-owned company that owns the racetrack, made the joint announcement from Brasília today. The Brasília Indy will be held on March 8, 2015.

In the final round of qualifying for Sunday’s Sylvania 300 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Jamie McMurray turned a quick lap of 27.121 seconds, 140.437 mph to claim the second-place starting position in his No. 1 Belkin/WEMO Chevrolet SS.

JOEY LOGANO – No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion – “It was just OK. We weren’t as good as we thought we would be and thought we would have been a little faster than where we ended up. I had to make another run there in the first segment to get in the second and was just a little too free. We’ve got to find a little more speed here.”

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - Starting Position: 4th - How was your qualifying session? "Our lap wasn't bad -- just lacking overall speed. Really we need a tenth-and-a-half to really be able to run with the 2 car (Brad Keselowski). Overall, a little discouraged about the speed, but happy that we're in the top-five in qualifying."

“I thought we had a really good car in race trim. We ran a few laps in race trim to start today. Very similar to the same car we had here the first race. We switched over to qualifying trim we were second quick so yeah our car has been good so far."

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - What's the outlook for New Hampshire this weekend? "We're excited to be here and obviously have a good start to the Chase. We can really put ourselves in position this weekend with another strong run. We can probably breathe slightly easier going into next week's cutoff race (Dover). That's our main focus -- is keeping this momentum going, keep working on our stuff, keep getting better and hopefully keep working week to week and keep progressing."
