Berry Brings JR Motorsport First Track Title, Now Shooting For First Martinsville win

After meeting NASCAR superstar and Late Model Stock car owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. on iRacing in 2009, Berry got to the know Earnhardt after the two started chatting online after races. That evolved into a phone conversation that eventually led to a tryout for Berry in a JR Motorsports-owned Late Model Stock car.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) will make its second of two trips to NASCAR's backyard track of Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS). After a couple weeks off from the NNS, James Buescher will return behind the wheel of a pink No. 30 Great Clips / AccuDoc Solutions Chevrolet Impala for Friday evening's race under the lights. Buescher has two previous starts at the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway, where this past May, Buescher posted a solid seventh-place finish. Buescher's career average starting position is 18.0 with his average finish bettering that at 17.3.

Dodge has 15 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series wins at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Buddy Baker recorded four wins at the 1.5-mile track while Richard Petty and Kasey Kahne posted three victories each. We also ran well there in the fall last year, so maybe this weekend will be our first Chase win. Charlotte changes the most out of any track we race at from evening to night. We’ve been fast, but as the rubber gets down the handling changes. We’ve got to stay up with the track to win there Saturday night.”
