Back to the Midwest: Kraig Kinser Set for Clay County & Deer Creek

Kraig Kinser has gotten plenty of windshield time over the last month as the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series has visited 10 tracks in five states and one Canadian province over the course of a grueling 13-race stretch, including seven shows in eight nights in Washington, Oregon and California. After putting in another 1,800 miles this week to get from California to Iowa, the second-generation driver will compete at Clay County Fair Speedway in Iowa, and Deer Creek Speedway in Minnesota, aboard the Mesilla Valley Transportation/Casey’s General Store/King Racing Products Maxim.

Reed also has one start in the ARCA Racing Series at Chicagoland Speedway, coming in 2012, where he started fourth and finished fifth.

Columbia Central students place American Flags at Unity Field to honor victims of 9/11

Unity Field features more than 3,000 American Flags proudly displayed to honor the victims of 9/11. The flags were placed by members of the Columbia Central High School National Honor Society in Lot 10 at Michigan International Speedway on Tuesday. In addition, members from the Brooklyn America Legion, Gleaner Arbor in Adrian, Michigan and MIS staff assisted.
