For the first time in NASCAR history, the drivers of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will take on the slick Kansas Speedway in the heat of June.

The previous Memorial Day weekend was a time for Americans to reflect on those who have served in our country's Armed Forces in the past as well as those men and women who are defending our quality of life in the present.

I'm just at a loss for words over what happened at the end of the Coca Cola 600 on Sunday night. It was a great race throughout, but yet another controversy has sprung up that takes all the excitement out of the finish away.
