Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion, finished in the 27th position on Sundayevening in NASCAR’s longest race of the season at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

But for the first 370 of 400 laps at Charlotte Motor Speedway, no one would have picked Carl Edwards or his No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota as the likely winner of the season’s 12th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

A total of 22 Team Chevy drivers will start the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Round 12 on the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) circuit. The 400-lap/600-mile race is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 24. Live coverage will be available on FOX, PRN, Sirius NASCAR Radio Channel 90 and NASCAR.com.

Austin Dillon won the Hisense 300, Ty Dillon finished seventh, Brendan Gaughan 18th and Brian Scott 20th.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Elliott Sadler finished in ninth-place during Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS). Sadler qualified for the 200 lap event on Saturday morning and started the NXS race from the 11th position.

Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed and the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association team finished 12th on Saturday after starting in the 10th position at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

DARRELL WALLACE JR. – No. 6 Cheez-It Ford Mustang – “It was a good run. It was a top-five run for us, our first one of the year. I’m just proud to have Cheez-It on board of our Ford Mustang. We just need a little bit more. Our pit stops need some work, but we’ll build off of it and take this top five into Dover and really have some fun next week.”

Camry driver Denny Hamlin (second) was the top-finishing Toyota driver in Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina, an event won by Austin Dillon.

Greg Biffle will make his 450th career Sprint Cup start in Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600. Biffle made his Sprint Cup debut in 2002 at California driving for Jack Roush. Over his 14 years in the series he has earned 19 wins, 88 top-five and 169 top 10 finishes while qualifying for the Chase for the Championship in six of the last seven years.
