Darrell Wallace Jr., diver of the No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Mustang in the NASCAR XFINITY series is one of four drivers competing for an extra $100,000 in the first Dash for Cash race of the season. Wallace met with media members Friday afternoon to discuss the weekend ahead.

As the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Dover International Speedway this weekend for the 13th points race of the season, 30-odd drivers are hoping to get lucky and snare the win that will catapult them into the Chase for the Sprint Cup. But for one driver, the stakes are even higher.

JIMMIE JOHNSON, NO. 48 LOWE’S PRO SERVICES CHEVROLET SS, met with members of the media and discussed going for win number 10 at Dover, the penalties issued last weekend after Charlotte, what he likes about racing at Dover and many other topics.

MARTIN TRUEX, JR., NO. 78 FURNITURE ROW/VISSER PRECISION CHEVROLET SS, met with members of the media at Dover International Speedway and discussed coming to his home track in Dover with momentum, the way his team is performing this season and many other topics.

"It’s a fun place and it’s real aggressive," Allmendinger said. "You can just attack the corners and to me it has always suited my driving style. I enjoy it. I just need to kind of get back where I used to be a few years ago.

“I’ve been looking forward to this weekend for a long time. I know as a family-owned team, we’ve put a lot of hard work and preparation into this weekend and making my Camping World Truck Series start at Dover is something that hasn’t really hit me yet, but certainly I’m excited. I love coming to this place, I’m very excited and I enjoy it very much and looking forward to a great weekend.”

Roush Fenway Racing returns to Dover, Del. as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) prepares to tackle “The Monster Mile,” Dover International Speedway, a track that has seen a Roush Fenway Ford visit Victory Lane 16 different times.

Harrison Rhodes will attempt to regain some momentum in his season in Saturday’s Buckle Up 200 XFINITY Series race at Dover International Speedway. Rhodes, a rookie, has finished in the 30s in the past three series races after a string of better runs.
