TALLADEGA TOP-10s: Denny Hamlin (ninth) was the top-finishing Camry driver in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, while JJ Yeley tallied a fourth-place result for Toyota in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race on Saturday.

The No. 40 team that competes in the NASCAR XFINITY Series has been penalized for a rule infraction discovered during pre-race inspection May 2 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Going to Kansas City, Kan. is always a special trip for Furniture Row Racing and its driver Martin Truex Jr. For starters, Kansas Speedway, site of Saturday night’s Sprint Cup Series race, is the closest track to the team’s headquarters in Denver, Colorado. The track has also been one of the favorites for Truex, who has four top-five finishes in the last six races at Kansas.

NAPA AUTO PARTS will grow its relationship with 11-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champions Hendrick Motorsports in 2016 when it becomes the majority sponsor of driver Chase Elliott and his No. 24 Chevrolet SS team.
