Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 Ortho Ford Fusion, gave his impression on the new rules package for 2015 between sessions of today’s test at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

This weekend the NASCAR Sprint Cup, XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series travel to Atlanta Motor Speedway. Saturday features a doubleheader beginning with the XFINITY Series Hisense 250 race at 2 p.m. followed by the Camping World Truck Series Hyundai Construction Equipment 200 at 5:30 p.m. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series closes out the racing weekend Sunday at 1 p.m. on FOX.

Cole Whitt, driver of the No. 35 Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters Ford, comments on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:

New Beginnings: Going into Atlanta Motor Speedway Bliss will make his first start with Go Green Racing. This weekend will also mark Bliss's 12th career NSCS start at Atlanta, where he has a best finish of 13th.

For the first time, Kansas Speedway will sell pre-race Track Passes to non-season ticketholders.

Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion, is fresh off his win in Sunday’s Daytona 500 and an extensive media tour that took him to New York City and his hometown in Connecticut. Logano spoke about his week prior to today’s test session and how the mindset quickly changes as he and other teams encounter a new set of rules this weekend in Atlanta.

The first on-track events at Atlanta Motor Speedway begin at 1 p.m. this afternoon with the first open team test of the 2015 season.

New Rules Package Debuts: For the first time this season, the new NSCS rules package will be seen on track. The package, which was announced in September, includes 30 technical enhancements for non-superspeedway races and is designed to help increase passing and improve the racing experience for fans.
