The chance for underdog teams to get that break out win allowing them to continue to race without dying for sponsorship is this weekend in Talladega. We’ve discussed the possibilities of underdog team’s winning before but in my personal opinion one team sticks out over the rest and that’s Front Row Motorsports.

No. 56 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota driver Martin Truex Jr. grew tired of watching it rain in Texas early this week so he’s now turning his full attention to Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Swan Racing today announced that Parker Kligerman will make his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut in the No. 30 Swan Energy Toyota on Sunday, November 3 for the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Biffle has 21 Sprint Cup career starts at Talladega, earning two top-five and five top-10 finishes. In 2012 Biffle finished inside the top 10 at both Talladega races.

When the red flag was displayed for rain, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was second behind teammate Carl Edwards when the cars were stopped on pit road. Once the track was dry the rookie lined up in the fifth position for the final green-white-checkered finish but the inside lane stalled on forward progress forcing him to settle for a 13th-place finish.

In his previous 18 starts at Talladega, Edwards has two top-five and five top-10 finishes. Edwards’ average start at Talladega is 14.1 and his average finish is 20.8. Edwards has completed 89.1 percent of his laps attempted at Talladega, and led 30 laps.

Everyone needs a little more support when racing at Talladega. This weekend, Marcos Ambrose and the No. 9 DEWALT team will have one of their biggest fans cheering for them.
