Four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon is accustomed to receiving trophies for his accomplishments, but Thursday he was the one doling out the hardware at Texas Motor Speedway much to the delight of nearly 1,500 students from Clara Love, Hatfield and Justin elementary schools.

DALE EARNHARDT, JR., NO. 88 NATIONAL GUARD CHEVROLET SS – met with media and discussed last week’s race at Martinsville, his expectations of on-track testing at Texas, classic cars, team reactions to disappointment, and more.

Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion has enjoyed plenty of success at Texas Motor Speedway over the years. Biffle met with media members Thursday between test session at the track to offer his observations on the day and more.

NASCAR is getting ready for Race #7 on the schedule located at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. Will things finally settle down this weekend? The speedway known as the "Wild Asphalt Circus" is the 7th race of the season, and 6th for Primary sponsor SANY. With 24 degree banking and 200 mph speeds, the name of the game this weekend is to hold on make it to the end!

JJ Yeley and the No. 36 Accell Construction Chevy SS team are heading to the circus this weekend, there will be no lions or elephants but instead the roar of 43 stock cars under the big top at Texas Motor Speedway.

Season Two X Factor winner Tate Stevens is returning home to sing the national anthem prior to the April 21, 2013 STP 400. Stevens, who hails from Belton, Mo., is making his first appearance at Kansas Speedway prior to two concerts in Kansas City on April 21 and April 22, and the release of his debut album on April 23, 2013.

NASCAR veteran Elliott Sadler, as well as NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers Joey Coulter and 2012 champion James Buescher, have been added to the growing lineup of players for the Second Annual Celebrity Softball Game between Dover International Speedway and Pocono Raceway. The game will be played on Wednesday, April 24 at the home of the Harrisburg Senators in Harrisburg, Pa.

For a driver with just 36 career Sprint Cup starts, Trevor Bayne has a good bit of experience at Texas Motor Speedway, where he’s set to drive the Wood Brothers’ No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion in Saturday night’s NRA 500.
