NASCAR Cup Series

After a fifth-place finish in their first outing together at Martinsville last October, Scott Riggs returns behind the wheel of the No. 92 BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors/fleetHQ Chevrolet for the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway. Crew chief Mike Hester also returns atop the pit box for the first time since 2011.

Max Gresham got to Daytona Beach on Tuesday, February 12 - 12 full days before the NextEra Energy Resources 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) event at Daytona International Speedway.

One has been to Victory Lane. Another earned a podium finish in a wild dash to the checkers. The third is looking to make his first-ever start in the Great American Race. All three Front Row Motorsports drivers have milestone memories or big expectations as competitors in the Daytona 500.

Year in Review: In 2012, Jamie McMurray completed 10,206 of 10,442 laps (97.7%) and had an average starting position of 21.3 and average finishing position of 20.1. McMurray finished the season with three top-ten finishes, 16 top-twenty finishes and for the first time since 2002 in his NSCS career failed to capture at least one top-five.

To go with the new season, Joe Nemechek announced a new deal with H2M Beverages. The partnership brings forth two new flavors of Herbal Mist Iced Tea - A Special Edition Unsweetened Tea and a Sweet Tea version aimed at the southern consumer.

As we head into the 2013 NASCAR season, here are some predictions of what could take place this year.......

Denny Hamlin was collected in a multi-car accident on Lap 14 of the season-opening Sprint Unlimited exhibition race at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday night, relegating the driver of the #11 FedEx Express Toyota to a 15th-place finish in the unofficial kickoff to the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

Veteran Rick Crawford will be piloting the #50 SUPERSEAL Construction Products Chevrolet with MAKE Motorsports this Friday night for the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

Moving on Up...2012 was a breakthrough year for Nelson Piquet Jr. in both the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) and the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) at the newly-rebranded Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM). He became the first ever Brazilian to win in NASCAR after claiming a victory at the NNS race at Road America in only his third-career series start.

Regan Smith, 2011 winner of the prestigious Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, aims to claim an additional NASCAR crown jewel this weekend. Smith and Phoenix Racing will team up to tackle the high banks of Daytona International Speedway in one of NASCAR's most coveted races, the Daytona 500. Smith will pilot the No. 51 Guy Roofing Chevrolet in his sixth Daytona 500 attempt.
