Armed with the memory of his late grandfather and a desire to promote healthy living, Richard Childress Racing driver Austin Dillon has joined the DRIVE4COPD campaign to raise awareness about chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a serious and progressive lung disease that is the third leading cause of death of Americans.

Richard Childress Racing has partnered with Red Kap, a division of VF Imagewear, Inc., as the official workwear outfitter for RCR and ECR Engines employees.

Just one week shy of the one year anniversary of his passing, Joseph ‘Doc’ Mattioli, father of Pocono Raceway, was remembered in a very special way. Mattioli received one of the sport’s highest honors, induction into the National Motorsports Press Association Hall of Fame.

Denny Hamlin and his girlfriend Jordan Fish welcomed their first child into the world on Sunday January 20th. Hamlin announced the birth of their baby girl by sending out a tweet with a picture earlier today.

Danny Efland announces his return to J D Motorsports w/Gary Keller as the driver of the Nationwide Series #4 Chevrolet for the 2013 season in 27 races. Danny drove 17 races for the Johnny Davis owned team as Mike Wallace's teammate during 2012. Finishing 21st in the driver standings, Danny had 5 top 20s and completed all of the laps at both supper speedways.

Brad Keselowski brought new glory to Penske Racing during the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup season. Keselowski won five races to earn his first Sprint Cup title, and the first for team owner Roger Penske. For his efforts he has been named the National Motorsports Press Association Richard Petty Driver of the Year.
