Today Roger Penske announced that AJ Allmendinger will no longer drive for Penske Racing and that Sam Hornish Jr will race the rest of the season in the Penske Dodge No.22 car.

Trevor Bayne, 2011 Daytona 500 champion, will make a special appearance on “Good Morning America” Thursday, August 2, on ABC at 8:30 am ET. Bayne was a guest on the popular show last March after his improbable Daytona 500 win.

Penske Racing announced today that AJ Allmendinger has been released as driver of the No. 22 Dodge Charger in the NASCAR Cup Series. Allmendinger was suspended indefinitely by NASCAR last week for a positive drug test.
