NASCAR Cup Series

No. 15 5-hour ENERGY Toyota driver Clint Bowyer likes to keep busy, but this week between building dirt cars, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series testing at Pocono Raceway, dirt racing in Tony Stewart’s Prelude to the Dream, and Cup Series racing at Pocono, he may be taking it to the extreme.

Mark Martin, like most NASCAR drivers, follows a race day routine that’s a large part of the sport’s success but not often seen on television.

“I’m nervous heading to Pocono because I have no idea what to expect. We have a day and a half of testing, which is good, but I have no idea how fast it will be, or how different it will drive through the corners. I’m excited it was repaved and also think that the race being shortened to 400 miles will create some excitement with the fans."

In an effort to help a fellow small team, Tommy Baldwin and James Finch worked out a deal for David Reutimann to drive the No. 51 Chevrolet for Phoenix Racing following Kurt Busch’s suspension for this weekend’s race at Pocono Raceway.

During the upcoming Coke Zero 400 Weekend Powered By Coca-Cola, Daytona International Speedway, along with the thousands of race fans in attendance, will pay tribute to four Congressional Medal of Honor recipients.

Kenseth on racing at Pocono Raceway: “I don’t know a lot about Pocono since they repaved it, but since we have to be there for testing next week, I think by the time we do the test, we’ll have a good idea of what you need and a good plan going into Friday and getting ready for the weekend."

Turner Sports is geared up for its 30th year of NASCAR coverage with TNT’s six-race NASCAR Sprint Cup Series set to begin Sunday, June 10, at noon ET from Pocono Raceway. TNT’s NASCAR coverage will once again feature analysis by Kyle Petty and Wally Dallenbach with play-by-play commentator Adam Alexander expanding his role this season.

1. Jimmie Johnson: Johnson dominated atDover, leading 289 laps, including the final 76, to win for the second time this year and capture his seventh victory at the Monster Mile. Johnson is fifth in the Sprint Cup point standings, 33 behind Greg Biffle.

While NASCAR race fans may know of Kyle Busch’s passion on the track as driver of the No. 18 M&M’s Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, they may not be as familiar with the many passions of his wife Samantha.
