After weeks of giving away top 10 finishes with great cars, Marcos Ambrose took a bad one and went about earning a good finish at Darlington the hard way.

With his win of the Bojangles Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, Jimmie Johnson in his No. 48 Lowe’s/KOBALT Tools Chevrolet captured the 200th Owner win for Rick Hendrick in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

Five-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) champion Jimmie Johnson scored his first win of the 2012 season at Darlington Raceway, his 56th career victory.

Brad Keselowski rallied from three laps down to score a respectable 15th-place finish on the lead lap in the Bojangles’ Southern 500 at historic Darlington Raceway.
