Five individuals with mobility challenges, including three U.S. Paralympians were on the fast track Wednesday (April 10), riding and driving the adaptive Bass Pro Shops/Toyota Camry at Richmond Raceway. The event served as a prelude to this weekend’s Toyota Owners 400 and ToyotaCare 250 NASCAR races at the historic .75-mile short track.

Additionally, in 171 starts at the Richmond, Va.-based track, RCR drivers have claimed 37 top-five and 70 top-10 finishes. Childress, a former driver on NASCAR's senior circuit, contributed three of those top-10 finishes from 1976-1978.

They say Virginia is for lovers and one thing Kyle Busch would love to do is win his third straight race at Richmond Raceway this Saturday (April 12, 7:30 p.m. ET on FOX, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

Chevrolet leads all manufacturers with 38 victories at the 0.75-mile, D-shaped Richmond Raceway. Chevrolet has powered 17 different drivers and teams with six different nameplates (Impala, Monte Carlo, Lumina, Monte Carlo SS, Impala SS and Chevy SS) to Victory Lane at the racetrack that hosted its first NASCAR race in 1953.
