Yes, NASCAR driver Sam Hornish, Jr, might be a bit partial to the 2013 Dodge Charger that debuts in the Sprint Cup series at the Daytona 500 next year.

The 2012 Daytona 500 is one that will go down in history as being the longest and most bizarre races of all time. The race was post-poned on two occasions due to a downpour of rain.

The Daytona 500 was quite a show. Not only was the race postponed because of rain, but it caused Daytona International Speedway and NASCAR to hold the first ever prime time night 500 in history.

After a long, and even bizarre, weekend at Daytona, the elite of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be criss crossing the country to the valley of the sun for three hundred plus laps on the Phoenix International Raceway.

Jack Roush launched his newly formed NASCAR operation on Feb. 14, 1988 and on the day Roush and driver Mark Martin finished their inaugural run in a back-up car in 41st position, young crew chief Jimmy Fennig led NASCAR Hall-of-Famer Bobby Allison to his final win in the famed Daytona 500.

Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) will field two entries for the Subway Fresh Fit 500. David Reutimann will make his team debut in the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR).

Country music sensation Kellie Pickler will perform in the Pepsi pre-race concert at Bristol Motor Speedway prior to the Food City 500 March 18.

Phoenix International Raceway has been one of Carl Edwards’ favorite tracks since he made his first start on pavement there back in 2001.

Roush Fenway heads west to Phoenix coming off an impressive performance at Daytona Speedweeks that saw the team dominate the charts, claim its second Daytona 500 trophy and collect its historic 300th victory.
