Just takes our car so long to come in, but still happy with that qualifying effort considering how much of a long run car it is. Proud of this whole FedEx Camry team."

Kevin Harvick, No. 4 Jimmy John’s Ford Fusion - Qualified 1st “We didn’t do any qualifying runs in practice so we were trying to get the car dialed in and get the driver to get the most out of it. I did an okay job the last round getting the car to roll fast enough through three and four and then the guys got it tightened up a little bit and we were able to get in the throttle up off the corner. That was really the key.”

KYLE LARSON, NO. 42 DC SOLAR CAMARO ZL1 – Qualified 10th - WHAT WERE YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGES IN QUALIFYING? “We just lacked balance and probably just a little bit of speed there, in Qualifying. I feel like our balance wasn’t terrible; it was better than practice, but we were still pretty slow. So hopefully we can figure something out for the race tomorrow because if it drives like it did in practice, it’ll be a long race.”

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M’s Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - Is it weird that somebody who hasn’t won during much of the year and made the playoffs is now in the position to potentially win the championship? “It’s kind of what the playoff format is all about, right? You come into this with guys who have a dominant regular season and then you reset the board and whoever is good in the final 10 (races) or three by three by three to one, obviously has a great shot to win the championship."
