It will be a fun weekend but it will be kind of trial and error as we go through the weekend. It was a good night for us here at Richmond and we did a good job on pit road, just came up a little bit short.”

Roush Fenway Racing announced today that veteran NASCAR driver Ryan Newman will take the reins of its iconic No. 6 Ford Mustang, competing full-time for Jack Roush in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in 2019. During his celebrated career, Newman has accumulated 18 victories, 51 poles, 112 top-fives and 246 top-10 finishes competing at NASCAR’s highest level.

Kevin Harvick, No. 4 Jimmy John’s Ford Fusion - Qualified 1st “We didn’t do any qualifying runs in practice so we were trying to get the car dialed in and get the driver to get the most out of it. I did an okay job the last round getting the car to roll fast enough through three and four and then the guys got it tightened up a little bit and we were able to get in the throttle up off the corner. That was really the key.”
