While Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer took much of the focus on the weekend, other drivers quietly ran well and finished with fantastic results in Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series race.

AJ ALLMENDINGER, NO. 47 KROGER CLICKLIST CAMARO ZL1 - RACING AT CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY: “Chicagoland Speedway is a challenging track because we only race at it one time during the year,” Allmendinger said. “With Chicago’s rough winters, the racetrack is always getting rougher through the offseason, more than some of the other tracks we go to. Over the last couple of years, the seams and the bumps in the racetrack are getting more noticeable, and the pavement is getting older, which changes how hard it uses the tires."

Chase Elliott on what makes Chicagoland unique: “The surface, for sure. It hadn’t been paved in a while, one of the older surfaces that we race on. The racetrack is pretty friendly to moving around and lets everybody kind of spread out, which is always fun. It has a good feel to it. It has some bumps and some character, which is nice, and I have always enjoyed racing there.”

Chicagoland Preview: The Series heads to Chicagoland Speedway for Sunday’s 267-lap Cup event. Hamlin notched his first career win at the 1.5-mile oval in Joliet, IL, in 2015. He has scored four top-10 finishes in his last four starts at the Windy City track, including a fourth-place finish during last year’s Playoff race.

Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced today, Jewel-Osco will be the primary sponsor of Darrell "Bubba" Wallace Jr. and the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 team during this weekend's events at the Chicagoland Speedway. Eckrich®, the makers of naturally hardwood smoked sausage and deli meats, will also be a partner of Wallace Jr. and the team this weekend in Joliet, Illinois.

Bayne’s average finish at the 1.5-mile track is 23.2 with his best result coming in 2012, a 20th-place finish in the No. 21. He most recently crossed the line 22nd in the 2017 event after starting 26th.

Stenhouse has five Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at Chicagoland Speedway with an average starting position of 14.8 and average finishing position of 18.6.
