CLINT BOWYER, No. 14 Haas 30 Years of the VF1 Ford Fusion - Finished 1st -- VICTORY LANE INTERVIEW “It took something crazy on a restart to be able to get Kevin. That was a gutsy call. When we went out there on two tires I looked in the mirror and I was so far ahead of everybody else i was like, ‘Oh man, we are in trouble!’ The rain came just in enough time. I was trying to hold him off. I was cutting him off and taking his line away pretty bad. If it wasn’t for a win you wouldn’t be doing that. He was so much faster than me in one and two. I got down in three and just had to take his line because that bear was coming.”

CHASE ELLIOTT, NO. 9 MOUNTAIN DEW/LITTLE CAESARS CAMARO ZL1 – Finished 9th - ON THE RACE AND HIS FINISH: “We had a flat tire there on one of those first cautions and it kind of got us behind a little bit, but we were hoovering right there kind of at the edge of the top 10 inside or outside depending upon the restarts and what not. I felt like we finished about where we deserved.”

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M's Red White & Blue Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - Qualifying Position: 3rd - How was your qualifying effort? “Qualifying was alright. The first round was a bit of a scare, but the rest of it was okay. Just didn’t quite get – but we got everything out of it there the third round."

KURT BUSCH, No. 41 Monster Energy/Haas Automation Ford Fusion - Qualified 1st “This one is fun because I could trust the car and I knew I needed to go after it hard. Watching all the Fords in practice I knew we had a good shot at it. The guys tweaked on the tires the right amount. It is a new compound, left and right side, and we didn’t want to get caught up too much in chasing the tires. We went with status quo. I think it is because of the speed that I like here and Texas and the balance we had in our car in qualifying. Now we need to translate that to race speed. I enjoy qualifying here. It is a pleasure to have one of these Fords and have Yates power under the hood. To go 217 mph, to haul the mail going into the corner I love that feeling.”

RYAN NEWMAN, NO. 31 OKUMA CAMARO ZL1 – Qualified 11th - THIRD WEEK IN A ROW THE NO. 31 TEAM HAS MADE THE FINAL ROUND AND THE BEST CHEVROLET HERE AT MICHIGAN. HOW WAS YOUR QUALIFYING SESSION? “Well, I mean it was a good improvement from where we started in the first practice session with the Okuma Chevrolet. Yeah, to be the only Chevrolet in the top 12 says something both about our team and the work that we need to do. Just keep doing what we need to do and get it ready in race trim.”

ERIK JONES, No. 20 DEWALT Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - How would it feel to get a win here in your home state? “It would be special, you know? I mean, coming home to Michigan and spend some time at home and coming back to the, you know, track that’s so close to my house is nice. Any first win would be big and especially Michigan, so just excited to be back here and excited to be staying close to home for a weekend and having an opportunity to race here.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI, No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion -- YOU SPENT YESTERDAY HOSTING YOUR CHARITY EVENT HERE IN MICHIGAN, CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THAT? “I am glad to be back in Michigan. It is always a highlight to my year to be here and get to race in my home community. I think a lot of drivers do some great charitable acts and certainly I don’t want to claim to be my only one. We are glad to have our charitable event here this year with my Checkered Flag Foundation up in Dryden which is just north of where I am from up in Rochester, the Rochester Hills area. We had a great time raising funds to help the Fisher House Foundation build a Fisher House building for veterans and their families here in Ann Arbor, close to where we are at here at the race track. That is something we are really committed to doing and hopeful to see that come to fruition. We had a lot of fun at the fundraiser. It was a fun fundraiser. A lot of times fundraisers aren’t a lot of fun. It was a fun experience for me and everyone involved. A great way to engage the community and some of our veterans and hopefully make that happen for this community. It is a cause near and dear to my heart for a lot of reasons and we were able to put a dent in the funding. It has been a good start to the week.”

MARTIN TRUEX JR., Auto-Owners Insurance Toyota Camry, Furniture Row Racing - How does it feel coming to Michigan International Speedway coming off a win? “Yeah, for sure. Last weekend was obviously a great weekend for our team getting back to victory lane for the second time of the year, so, yeah, things have been going really well for us lately."
