RYAN BLANEY, No. 12 Menards/Duracell Ford Fusion - (Finished 6th) “It was a really hard day. We didn’t start out very good and worked on it really hard. I thought we were about a fourth or fifth place car and we were running fifth there when the caution came out. That jumbled everyone up and we came in and put two on it and my car didn’t really drive that good on two tires. We ended up sixth. I thought we were better than a couple cars that finished in front of us. We worked on it pretty hard all day and to make gains like we did through the day is a positive.”

Kyle Larson used determination and hard racing to earn his third runner-up finish of the year in his DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway. Even though Larson came up just shy of scoring his first win of the season once again, he was happy with the team’s result.

Martin Truex Jr. didn't have the strongest car in the race, though he won a stage, and didn't pitch one of his signature clinic performances. But his team gambled in the closing laps by staying out under caution, and he held off drivers with fresher tires to win at Pocono.

GREAT MOVES BY THE 78 OF TRUEX BUT A GREAT COUNTER BY YOU “Yeah, I actually liked that the 78 tried to pull down and block me a little bit because it messed his angle up to the corner. I knew he would have to slow down a little more on entry and I was hoping I could get close enough to him to get him loose."

JAMIE MCMURRAY, NO. 1 GEARWRENCH CAMARO ZL1 – Qualified 3rd - YOU’LL BE STARTING 3RD IN SUNDAY’S RACE. HOW WAS QUALIFYING TODAY? “Yeah, this is good; especially how we ran last week. We’ve not had a very good year. So, I’m really pleased with our last two weeks performances."

RYAN BLANEY, No. 12 Menards/Duracell Ford Fusion - (Qualified 1st) “We just kept getting better each round and everybody did a great job of realizing what we had to do to get better and pick out of spots where to get better and the car had the speed in it, we just needed to handle good and I needed to hit a good lap. I was kind of messing up the first two runs. We were able to figure out where we needed to get better and it was good. I can’t thank everyone on this Menards/Duracell Ford Fusion team enough. They put in hard work and it is nice to start up front on Sunday.”
