BRAD KESELOWSKI -- No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion (Qualified 5th) PRESS CONFERENCE -- “It is a decent effort position wise. These races are so long that where you start isn’t always super important. But getting a decent pit selection as qualifying does for you not a bad thing. There’s a half a dozen good pit stalls and we able to get one of those. We don’t have a lot of tires to put on the race. When we do we’ll have a decent position to pit from so that’s good.”

TEAM CHEVY NOTES & QUOTES: KYLE LARSON, NO. 42 CREDIT ONE/DC SOLAR CHEVROLET SS – Qualified 7th - LAST QUALIFYING SESSION OF THE SEASON, NOT THE POLE, BUT STILL A SOLID EFFORT: “Yeah, it was by far our best qualifying effort here at Homestead, so I’m happy about that. I got really loose during the last round in Turns 1 and 2 and then nailed my (Turns) 3 and 4, so I felt like I could have ended up fourth or so if I would have gotten through (Turns) 1 and 2 better. Yeah, we will get a better pit stall selection than normal and hopefully that will help our race out.”

After posting a lap that was three-tenths faster than his closest competitor while he was on track, pole position all but belonged to Martin Truex Jr. But after time expired, Denny Hamlin edged him out by five-one thousandths of a second and took the pole for the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Kyle Busch topped the chart in first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Ford owner representatives Tony Stewart (Stewart-Haas Racing) and Walt Czarnecki (Team Penske) were part of a press conference this morning at Homestead-Miami Speedway to talk about the possibility of winning a Monster Energy NASCAR Championship on Sunday. Here are their respective comments.

DALE EARNHARDT, JR., NO. 88 AXALTA CHEVROLET SS, met with members of the media at Homestead-Miami Speedway and discussed competing in his final race as a full-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver, his emotions going into his final race, the group of people he will have around him and many other topics.

Team Penske has announced an enhanced partnership agreement for 2018 with REV Group, a leading manufacturer of specialty vehicle brands serving the commercial, fire and emergency and recreational markets. REV, a Team Penske partner in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) and the Verizon IndyCar Series since 2016, will showcase its brands as the company steps up to become a sponsor for the team in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) in 2018.

Ford drivers Brad Keselowski and Kevin Harvick were part of the Championship 4 Media Day festivities on Miami Beach Thursday afternoon. Part of the day included a press conference featuring all four Championship 4 contenders together. Below are Keselowski and Harvick’s Q&A from that event.

The Go Fas Racing team has shattered a lot of team records this season, and they hope to break another this weekend. The team has improved their average finishing position from 34.3 to 26.9, while improving their average starting position from 37.5 to 28.8.
