Spencer Boyd Racing announced today that a multi-year agreement has been reached with veteran-owned lifestyle brand, Grunt Style. Boyd will drive a full schedule in the No. 76 Chevrolet Camaro for SS Green Light Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2018.

Roush Fenway Racing returns to the Land of Oz this weekend as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) heads back to Kansas Speedway, a track that has seen a Roush Fenway Ford visit victory lane nine times across NASCAR’s three major touring series.

Kansas Cutoff: The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race at Kansas Speedway on Sunday marks the final race in the second round of the NASCAR Playoffs. Four Camry drivers are currently competing in the Playoffs as Martin Truex Jr. leads the MENCS point standings with six wins and will automatically advance into the ‘Round of 8’ by virtue of his victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway two weeks ago.

This Sunday, NASCAR action takes us to Kansas. We just can not get enough of Kansas, which is why we find ourselves watching the action from there for a second time this season. If not Kansas, I guess there is always Kentucky, Chicago, Dover, Fontana, or Pocono , but allow me to calm down my beating heart.

Chevrolet currently has four drivers still in contention to take home the hardware in Homestead and become the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Serie champion. However, this weekend at Kansas, the pressure is on as 12 will become eight.

If Ryan Blaney and his No. 21 Omnicraft team had their pick of race tracks to run the elimination race of the Round of 12 of the Monster Energy Cup playoffs, they’d likely pick Kansas Speedway, the site of Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400.

If Martin Truex Jr. were in need of an elixir to cure any racing woes, Kansas Speedway’s 1.5-mile track would be the perfect remedy for the Furniture Row Racing driver.

Roush Fenway Racing carries its ‘Driven for a Cause’ platform, in support of breast cancer awareness, into Kansas Speedway this weekend as Trevor Bayne’s No. 6 AdvoCare Ford and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s No. 17 Fastenal Ford will both sport pink numbers this weekend.

Kansas Preview: The Series heads to Kansas Speedway this Sunday for the next cut-off race in the 2017 NASCAR Playoffs that will narrow down the Playoffs field from twelve to eight competitors. Hamlin currently sits fifth in the Playoff points standings, and will be looking to get a win at Kansas to secure his spot in the Round of 8. He last won at the 1.5-mile track in 2012, and has captured four top-five and five top-10 finishes in 18 career starts there. Hamlin was caught up in an incident in the closing laps of the race earlier this year at Kansas, resulting in a 23rd-place finish.

Leavine Family Racing (LFR) and Michael McDowell are confident returning to Kansas Speedway, where they earned one of their best finishes of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) season.
