Austin Dillon Races to a 21st-Place Finish Despite Getting Caught Up in Crash on Lap 1 at Pocono Raceway "We got off on the wrong foot today that's for sure. It's one of those situations where we were at the wrong place at the wrong time. We got hit from behind on Lap 1. I hate if for our American Ethanol team but they pulled together and worked hard to make the repairs so we didn't lose any laps. This weekend was a challenge from the get-go, but we are by no means giving up. We keep improving on our cars and it's just a matter of time before we start seeing better results."

It appeared Kyle Busch was out of it when he pitted with 25 laps to go. With 16 to go, however, he put the chrome bumper to Kevin Harvick and set sail to victory in the Overton's 400 at Pocono Raceway.

We would get it… I can’t believe I sped, I was running my marks, but I was running them so consistently that it just barely bounced over. So, we were pushing it. That put us back to the back and we needed to make some changes as we went, but there at the end, I thought we had a great car. The Great Clips Chevrolet was pretty good."

Kyle Busch conserved his tires through the first round of qualifying and it paid off in the final round with pole position for today's Overton's 400 at Pocono Raceway.

Brad Keselowski held a media availability session after first practice for tomorrow’s NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series Overton’s 400 at Pocono Raceway.

Silly Season hit full stride on Wednesday as a surprise announcement from Team Penske and the Wood Brothers racing organizations made announcements. Roger Penske had hinted that his team was looking at a third car for Ryan Blaney, but when asked if it might be 2018, his only comment was it could be. This morning the answer changed to yes.
