Michael McDowell and Leavine Family Racing (LFR) are excited to get back to superspeedway racing for the Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

NASCAR travels to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend for the XFINITY Series Sparks Energy 300 and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series GEICO 500. The XFINITY races airs Saturday at 1 p.m. and the Cup Series race will be broadcast Sunday at 2 p.m., both on FOX.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series stars Martin Truex Jr. and Matt Kenseth took off their racing suits and put on their softball jerseys on Wednesday, May 3 during the annual Dover vs. Pocono Rivalry Day event in Allentown, Pa.

Alabama native Clayne Crawford, who portrays Detective Martin Riggs on the FOX hit show “LETHAL WEAPON,” will be the Honorary Pace Car driver for Sunday’s (May 7) GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane team return this weekend to Talladega Superspeedway, site of some of their best performances in recent years.

“It was a big break,” Childress said. “I left that day with seven or eight grand, bought me some land and built my first race shop. It was being in the right place at the right time. It was just one of the lucky breaks. Life’s all about the breaks and when you take advantage of them. That was the difference of me making it and not making it.”

Roush Fenway Racing returns to the track that is “like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get,” as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) heads to Talladega Superspeedway, a track that has seen a Roush Fenway Ford visit victory lane seven times.

Toyota Camry’s 10 Years at Dega: In 2017, Toyota is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Toyota Camry in Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) competition.

Erik Jones and his Furniture Row Racing team return to NASCAR Cup Series action this week in the GEICO 500 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway with a chip on their collective shoulder after their early exit from last Sunday’s race.

Did you know? Talladega Superspeedway is one of six tracks on the current Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) schedule where Chevrolet has 40 or more victories. Chevrolet eclipsed the 40-win mark at the 2.66-mile superspeedway when Dale Earnhardt, Jr. took his Chevrolet SS to victory at in May of 2015. Chevrolet leads all other manufacturers with exactly 40 wins at Talladega.
