Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane team continued their strong start to the 2017 season with a trip to Las Vegas Motor Speedway that saw them fast in practice, qualifying and the race.

Toyota driver Martin Truex Jr. earned the first victory for the new 2018 Camry race car in Sunday afternoon’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Martin Truex, Jr., driver of the No. 78 Bass Pro Shops/TRACKER Boats Toyota Camry, hit the jackpot by clinching his first Monster Energy Cup Series win of the season March 12, 2017 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS).

Martin Truex Jr. had the dominant car most of the day but had to beat Brad Keselowski when it mattered most in the closing laps of the Kobalt 400.

When a last-lap issue changed the outcome of the KOBALT 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENSC) race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS), Team Chevy young guns Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott were in position to capitalize on an exciting finish.

Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team scored their second top-10 finish of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season with a seventh-place result in the Kobalt 400 this afternoon at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

KEVIN HARVICK – No. 4 Mobil 1 Ford Fusion – ANY IDEA WHAT LED TO THE TIRE GOING? “It started vibrating about four or five laps there before it blew out, and I was just trying to ride it to the end of the stage there. Obviously, it didn’t make it. The worst part was the medical response. It took them forever to get to the car. I thought we made that better, but obviously we haven’t. All in all, our Mobil 1 Annual Protection Ford was running good. We were just too loose right there. It’s not like we were even tight, so it either just cut the tire, or came apart or melted the bead.” ARE YOU OK? “Yeah, I’m fine.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI – No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion -- HAVE YOU BEEN ABLE TO FIND OUT WHAT BROKE? “No, they’ll have to take it apart. At the end we have to go to inspection and stuff, so we’re not allowed to look. I just know it was something major."

KYLE LARSON, NO. 42 TARGET CHEVROLET SS – Finished 2nd - VERY SOLID SECOND PLACE RUN FOR YOU, YOU ARE JUST KEEPING THIS MOMENTUM GOING IN 2017: “Yeah, no fist flying for me. That was exciting right there, but no, awesome day for our Target team. Second in the first stage, third in the second stage and then finished second in the race. I can’t say enough about my team."
