Chase Elliott’s fourth-place finish led a parade of four Team Chevy drivers to top-10 finishing positions in the Round of 8 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup

Carl Edwards took his No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota to Victory Lane in a rain-shortened AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, after the race's start was delayed by an almost six-hour rain delay at the beginning of the race.

Our team is tough and we showed speed in qualifying the last couple weeks. I think this AAA Fusion has a lot of speed in race trim too. I am excited. It is a fun track to race and is really racey as well. We are starting toward the front and this is a 500-mile race so I am looking forward to it.”
