Ryan Blaney drove the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion to eighth place today in the AAA 400 Drive for Autism at Dover International Speedway’s Monster Mile. It was his third consecutive top-10 finish and his fifth so far in the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup season.

The Sprint Cup Series race at the "Monster Mile" ended with what you'd expect from a track with that nickname- a bunch of torn up race cars, a thrilling race, and a great finish. Here was what was surprising and not surprising from the 47th Annual AAA 400 Drive For Autism at Dover International Speedway.

In a wild AAA 400 Drive for Autism NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Dover International Speedway, hard-charging Kyle Larson, who was looking for his first premier-series win in his No. 42 Target Chevrolet SS, wound up just .188 seconds behind the race winner (Matt Kenseth, Toyota) at the checkered flag. It was Larson’s fourth top-10 and best of the 2016 season. He led 85 of the 400-lap race at the track nicknamed the ‘Monster Mile’.

It was the Wisconsin veteran’s 37th series career victory and his third at Dover. It came after an amazing 30 lap duel between the three drivers that ended with Larson coming close but leaving with no cigar.

Camry driver Matt Kenseth earned his first checkered flag of the season in Sunday afternoon’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Dover International Speedway.

BRAD KESELOWSKI, No. 2 Wurth Ford Fusion – Finished 6th “This was one of those Dover races I don’t think anybody will forget any time soon. There was a lot of chaos and we ran really well."

KYLE LARSON, NO. 42 TARGET CHEVROLET SS – Finished 2nd - WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE AT THE END? “We were really good. We were better than Matt (Kenseth) there. A lot of good cars got wrecked which was nice and I knew I was going to be the car to probably beat. I got to second there on the restart and just tried to be patient. I could see Matt was pretty loose in front of me."

When it’s your birthday, you wear something special… especially when celebrating your 75thbirthday. In honor of M&M’S® 75th anniversary, NASCAR® champion Kyle Busch’s No. 18 Toyota will be sporting a new number, No. 75, at the NASCAR® Sprint All-Star Race in Charlotte on Saturday, May 21.

The field for Sunday’s race, as per the NASCAR rule book, was determined by the most recent practice session. Harvick was the fastest on Friday’s lone Sprint Cup practice session and will thus start on the pole.

Qualifying for Sunday’s AAA 400 Drive for Autism NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
