If history repeats itself, there will be no surprise winner at Richmond on Saturday night. Going back over the past 10 years, every single driver who has won there is currently locked into the Chase for this year. Except for one.

September is national Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and patients, families, researchers and charities, including the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation and Richmond International Raceway are rallying to bring awareness and raise funds for childhood cancer research, treatment, patient support and survivorship issues.

It’s all on the line Saturday night for No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota driver David Ragan and other drivers at Richmond International Raceway in the final race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regular season.

Roush Fenway Racing hopes to “Meet Virginia” this weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) heads to Richmond International Raceway, a track that has seen a Roush Fenway Ford visit victory lane on 15 previous occasions.

Good track for the team: “Richmond International Raceway (RIR) has always been a good racetrack for us,” said Allmendinger, who has three top-10 finishes at RIR. “I think we qualified fourth there in the spring. We had a decent run and it seems like I’ve always had good runs at Richmond.”

Last Race Before the Chase...It's all on the line this weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) returns to Richmond International Raceway (RIR) this weekend. This weekend is Justin Allgaier's last chance to qualify for the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Saturday's night race will mark Allgaier's fourth start at the 0.75-mile short track.

DARLINGTON SWEEP: Camry drivers swept the NASCAR race weekend at Darlington Raceway with Carl Edwards earning the win in Sunday night’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race and Denny Hamlin claiming the victory in Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race at the 1.366-mile South Carolina track. Edwards’ win marked his second of the season and the 75th victory for Toyota in NSCS competition. Hamlin (third) and Kyle Busch (seventh) also earned top-10 results for Toyota in the NSCS race at the ‘Lady in Black’. Hamlin led Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) teammates Busch (second) and Daniel Suarez (third) to the finish line on Saturday.

This is it. Saturday night under the lights at Richmond International Raceway, the field for the 2015 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup will be set. Clint Bowyer and his 5-hour ENERGY team are poised to earn their third berth together in NASCAR’s playoffs.

Martin Truex Jr. has faced the pressure of the final regular season race. The team he drives for -- Furniture Row Racing -- has also been in the same position.

Annett Rolls on to Richmond...Michael Annett and his No. 46 Switch Hitch Chevrolet team travel to Richmond International Raceway (Va.) for Saturday night's 400-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The event at the 3/4-mile track is the second-to-last short track race of the 2015 season.
