Johnny Sauter, the 2016 NASCAR Truck Series Champion, was looking to become a two-time champion after making it to the Championship 4 for the third consecutive year in a row. Unfortunately, the team just missed it Friday night at Homestead-Miami Speedway and finished a disappointing 12th after a record high six wins in 2018, the most he's ever had in his career in one season.

Brett Moffitt captured the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ biggest prize on Friday night, the culmination of a storybook season for the Iowa native and his single-truck race team.

Legends are rare. Many get an honorary title, no doubt stars in their own right at one time long ago or a pioneer of some description. Kyle Busch won the Can-Am 500 at ISM Raceway in Phoenix clinching his spot in the Championship 4 at Homestead next week.  Busch led 117 laps in route to his eighth win of the 2018 season.
