From a preexisting shoulder injury, Spencer Gallagher will not be in the seat of the No. 25 this weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park after reinjuring his shoulder during a Thursday workout session.

Ross Chastain Set to Make Three Starts in NASCAR Xfinity Series with Chip Ganassi Racing

Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announced today that NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) regular Ross Chastain will make three starts behind the wheel of the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro SS in the NXS, beginning with Darlington Raceway, on Saturday, Sept. 1. Chastain will also compete in NXS races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Sept. 15) and Richmond International Raceway (Sept. 21).

“I am excited to head to Canada. I am anticipating that we will do well at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. I’ve been working with Ron Fellows and a couple other people in anticipation of this weekend’s race. I’ll use those notes and simulator time, and I am excited to know when I show up this year I will be better prepared. Last year, I would over drive my corners and just never really got a good feel for the track. My focus this year will to be smoother this time around and find a good rhythm.”

Romberg has played a special role in Majeski’s life and racing career and he has a special tie to the car this weekend that extends beyond his name on the door.
