Trevor Bayne makes his seventh NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Kentucky Speedway on Saturday evening. In six previous starts at the 1.5-mile oval, Bayne has recorded six consecutive top-15 finishes and has an average finish of 12.7.

Chris Buescher will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Kentucky Speedway this Saturday. In his previous start at the track, coming earlier this season, Buescher started and finished 18th.

Ryan Reed will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start this weekend at Kentucky Speedway. In his first start, coming earlier this season, Reed started 15th and finished 17th.

Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Mustang, improved 12 positions in the final 40 laps of Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) event at Chicagoland Speedway to score his fifth top-five finish of the 2014 season, crossing the finish line for the final time in the fifth position.

Mike Bliss and the No. 19 Tweaker Energy Shot Camry qualified 23rd forSaturday afternoon's race. Early into the race, Bliss reported that his Camry was loose, so when the competition caution came out at lap 25 the team made an air pressure adjustment and a track bar adjustment. By lap 57, Bliss was scored in 19th and continuing to gain track position. Around lap 90, Bliss came on the radio to report that his Camry was still loose. With 74 laps to go, Bliss was scored in the 20thposition and reported his car was "a little tight in."

After scoring his career-best NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) finish just weeks ago at Michigan International Speedway, Tayler Malsam had high hopes as he returned to the No. 32 Redbox Chevrolet at Chicagoland Speedway. However, contact from another competitor forced Malsam and his TSM team to spend a significant amount of time on pit road to repair damage, which ultimately regulated them to a 23rd-place finish, multiple laps down.

Making his fourth-career NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday afternoon, Kyle Larson came up just short of the win, crossing the finish line in second position while scoring his career-best finish at the 1.5-mile track.

Following a weekend off, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams returned to action at Chicagoland Speedway. The Red Horse Racing teams posting top-10 practice speeds in the final practice session on Thursday, Sept. 11. The following afternoon, rain postponed qualifying for the 15th race of the 2014 season, setting the starting grid per the NASCAR rule book, with Germán Quiroga in the eighth position and Timothy Peters in the 10th.
