The fourth-generation NASCAR competitor from Mooresville is set to achieve a milestone start in his second full-time season in the Xfinity Series.

Chase Briscoe collected his ninth win of the year and now adds his name to the Championship 4 for the Xfinity Series when they go to Phoenix International Raceway in a couple of weeks.

Briscoe led 159 of the 200 laps to capture his ninth win of the season and gives Briscoe an automatic position into the Championship 4 round for the season title.

This week the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Truck Series travel to Kansas Speedway to begin the Playoffs Round of 8.

The Atlanta, Georgia, native is set to return for a fourth full-time Xfinity Series season with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2021.
