After going 75 races without a win, Frank Kimmel would get by rookie Mason Mitchell with 44 laps to go and held the field off in a late race restart for his 75th career win in the Messina Wildlife Animal Stopper 200 presented by Federated Car Care at Lucas Oil Raceway.

After practice was able to start following a rain shower, it'd be 15-year-old Erik Jones topping the charts in final practice late in the session at Lucas Oil Raceway. The rookie Venturini Motorsports driver lapped the 0.686-mile oval in 22.217 seconds in his No. 55 Chevrolet.

When a driver gets on a roll, it's sometimes hard to get them off of that streak. That could be said for D.J. Kennington as he won the Velocity Prarie Thunder presented by Bayer Crop Science for his fifth straight NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobile 1 victory in a row.

For the second time this year, J.R. Fitzpatrick will lead the field to the green flag. The first time was earlier this year in June after qualifying was rained out at Circuit ICAR.

This years Summer Nationals at Willams Grove Speedway didn't start off well; the two night event was rained out on Friday, leaving just the Saturday night duel between the Outlaws and the Posse. And what a duel it turned out to be.

The IZOD IndyCar series stays north of the border for the eleventh round of the 2012 season this weekend with Edmonton Indy. It will be the fifth IndyCar sanctioned race at the Edmonton City Centre Airport and the eighth race to be held at the venue, with Champ Car holding the first three races beginning in 2005.

The overcast skies over Rossberg Ohio had a foreboding quality to them. The humidity was high and you could almost smell the rain. Track workers would stop for a moment and look up at the skies and then hurry on their way.

While it was almost too close to call, veteran NASCAR Whelen Modified racer Mike Stefanik took the checkered flag in the Town Fair Tire 100 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
