Owners of Carolina Motorsports Park, the only purpose-built road racing facility in the Carolinas, today announced they are seeking a new owner. Located in Kershaw, S.C., approximately one hour's drive from both Charlotte, N.C. and Columbia S.C., the 280-acre property on US 521, with a 2.27 road racing course and a 0.7 -mile Kart track, hosts year-round racing events and serves as a playground for sports car enthusiasts.

It has been over a decade since Tracy Hines has raced at the historic one-mile dirt oval at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. The last time he competed at the track was during the 2002 edition of Super DIRT Week. The Traxxas USAC Silver Crown Series will return to the New York State Fairgrounds for the first time in 11 years this week, as part of NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week XLIII. Hines will be battling for his second Silver Crown championship as well in what serves as the season finale.

When Taylor Ferns hits the track this weekend, for a pair of races in Ohio, she will have a new look to her car as Eco-Mend has come on-board as the primary sponsor of her No. 55F winged sprint car. The sponsorship of Ferns will be Eco-Mend’s first involvement in the world of motorsports. Eco-Mend is a Michigan-based, small business that specializes in environmentally conscious remediation.

Charles (CJ) Evans Jr. will make his first ARCA Racing Series start since 2013 with Team BCR Racing this Friday at Kansas Speedway for the Kansas Lottery 98.9. Evans will be behind the wheel of the No. 88 Elevator Transportation Services, ACCI Ford Fusion.

As the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards 2014 Season comes to a close Friday night with the ARCA 98.9 from Kansas Speedway it also completes the 32nd year of series competition for Venturini Motorsports (VMS).
