Venturini Motorsports (VMS) and the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards turned thier attention to road racing this past weekend for the first of two scheduled road courses on the schedule. After nine oval races the team rolled into the majestic grounds of Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin ready to face the 14 twists and turns making up the 4-mile course.

INDYCAR UPDATES APPROVED ENGINE CHANGE OUT RULE

INDYCAR announced today that it has added a rule relating to engine failure during approved INDYCAR on-track testing to the 2013 IZOD IndyCar Series rulebook.

A Pair of Podium Finishes for Tracy Hines at I-96 & Angell Park

Tracy Hines has been strong on the big tracks with the USAC Amsoil National Sprint Car Series this season. Same goes for his program on the small tracks with the Honda USAC National Midget Dirt Championship. A pair of races over the weekend saw the same results as he recorded podium finishes in both a sprint car and midget on successive nights at I-96 Speedway in Michigan, and Angell Park Speedway in Wisconsin.

OSCAAR PR – Preview: OSCAAR Modifieds Invade Delaware

The OSCAAR Modifieds return to Delaware Speedway Friday night for their third career trip, marking a homecoming of sorts for a number of drivers. The 30-lap event will pit some former Delaware Speedway Modified regulars, and current FT Garage Late Model drivers, against a number of OSCAAR regulars. The competition will be fierce as a number of story lines are apparent heading in to the event.

Corey Jones to Join Super Late Model Field

Corey Jones, a veteran of the Lucas Oil Canadian Vintage Modified tour, is making the jump to an OSCAAR Super Late Model starting this season. Jones will leave the storied open-wheel tour at the conclusion of this year, but will run select events with OSCAAR through the end of 2013.

Dowler Scores Another Solid Run In EMCO Dodge

Sherwood Park, Alberta’s Noel Dowler and the #5 EMCO/Rheem Dodge team had a busy week prior to round number two of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series this past weekend, the EMCO 200 at Delaware Speedway. In front of a large contingent of EMCO customers and staff Dowler chalked up another top ten finish after battling back from an early obstacle.
