ZLOOP Computer and Recycling Centers to Usher in Kentucky Speedway’s 20th ARCA Racing Series Event September 20

Electronics recycling educational programs will complement a 150-mile race sponsorship

Sparta, KY (June 29, 2013) — ZLOOP Computer and Electronic Recycling Centers will usher in the 20th ARCA Racing Series (ARS) event in Kentucky Speedway’s storied history as the title sponsor of a September 20 150-mile race that will open doubleheader weekend that also features 300 miles of NASCAR Nationwide Series racing September 21.

The only national eWaste franchise to guarantee the safe and secure disposal of eWaste, ZLOOP will utilize the ZLOOP 150 as a platform for encouraging the public to properly recycle computers, mobile phones, printers, electronic devices and phone systems.

“ZLOOP is extremely excited to be part of the Kentucky Speedway family. Consumer education is at the forefront of everything we do and there’s no better place to activate fans than in the racing-rich state of Kentucky,” ZLOOP Founder and CMO Bob LaBarge said.

Kentucky Speedway played host to ARS events from 2000 to 2009. Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and nine-time series champion Frank Kimmel are former series race winners at the speedway.

“We are thrilled to be sponsoring the September 20 ZLOOP 150 ARCA race at Kentucky Speedway. We look forward to an amazing race under the lights in the Bluegrass State,” ZLOOP Founder and Chairman Bob Boston said.

The September doubleheader weekend will serve as the finale to the five-race Kentucky Speedway season.

“It is great that our venue is welcoming a new corporate partner which is a leader in an emerging industry. We are looking forward to extending the reach of ZLOOP’s responsible recycling message through our 20th ARCA Racing Series event,” Kentucky Speedway General Manager Mark Simendinger said.
