Over the years, Kraig Kinser has grown pretty accustomed to having long drives along the World of Outlaws trail. None though are quite like the one he and his team have been on this week, as they will have covered over 1,800 miles by the time they reach Iowa for an event on Friday, following Monday’s race in California.

“We gotta win.” Those are the thoughts from ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards veteran Tom Hessert III as he steers towards Saturday night’s Kentuckiana Ford Dealers Fall Classic by Federated Car Care at the historic Salem (Ind.) Speedway.

There’s just something about quarter-mile dirt tracks in Indiana and sprint car racing that go hand-in-hand. Tracy Hines knows very well the lore of the bullrings in his home state, and will get a chance to race at two of the legendary venues in the Hoosier state this weekend.

Martin Roy driver of the #90 Batteries Expert/Veloce/Gamache Truck Centre Dodge and teammate Isabelle Tremblay pilot of the #07 Frank Lyman Design Dodge with both return to action this weekend at Riverside International Speedway near Antigonish, NS for round number eleven of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series on Saturday evening.

Going back to his roots, Bobby Runyan Jr. took the weekend off from his normal stock car racing to enter a double regional event in the San Francisco SCCA. Runyan Jr. drove one of Porter Racing's Formula Continental's powered by JKB Energy at Thunderhill Raceway in Northern California. Although not unfamiliar with Formula cars, being the 2009 Formula Ford Champion, Runyan Jr. had never driven a winged car. The 2.0 liter powered machine would be his first attempt at such a race car with this much power and the added down force that the front and rear wings would provide.
