Ron Beauchamp Jr. was excited to showcase his road course program improvements at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Saturday, but a recipe of cautions and contact with other drivers sidetracked him from breaking into the top ten before the end of the 100km race.

Buck was never far from the top of the time sheets during any on track session and battled his way to a podium finish in the race that took place on the famed Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Ile Notre Dame.

Third generation NASCAR driver, Jesse Little, has been signed to drive for Coulter Motorsports in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. The high school sophomore will make his debut on Labor Day weekend at the historic Greenville-Pickens Speedway as the half-mile hosts the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 140.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and the World Racing Group announced today that Goodyear will not continue as the official tire supplier of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series beyond the 2012 season.
