On Saturday night at Barrie Speedway, Tyler Hawn would make his 2014 OSCAAR Super Late Model season debut. The night didn’t go as hoped, though, as Hawn would fight handling issues on his way to finishing 10th in the 50-lap feature.
Gary Mclean used a lap twenty seven restart to claim first place and record his second feature event win in 2014. Race long leader #36 of Gary Elliott said there was nothing he could do, he lost his power steering and on the restart did not want to push up into McLean.
#10 Jesse Kennedy lead the field to green and held onto the point until lap eleven of the fifty lap event. Current point leader Andrew Gresel would pace the field till a lap thirty three caution allowed the second running #17 Kevin Cornelius to close the gap.
