After winning three of the four short track races this season, Team BCR’s Grant Enfinger expects nothing less than a win at Winchester Speedway.

This past weekend at Sunset Speedway, Canadian motorsports history was recognized as Gary Elliott made his 700th consecutive start behind the wheel. In a combination of Canadian Vintage Modified events, Late Model events and Hanover Holiday OSCAAR Modified events, Elliott hasn't missed a night of racing since June 5th, 1987.

As a team that opened their 2014 campaign with back-to-back mechanical DNFs, Corey Jones and his J Star Motorsports crew are reveling in their recent change of fortunes. The freshman competitor recently impressed in back-to-back outings at the 16th annual Don Biederman Memorial, registering a pair of top-15 finishes in the two-night event.

With this being the first ever visit to the Capital City Speedway, the modified drivers will be starting with an empty note book. This will be the perfect test to see what team can adapt the quickest to the new track. #14 Davey Terry will be looking to better his runner up spots from last weekend. Gary McLean will be looking to add yet another track to his resume that he has won at.

Joey McColm and Canada's Best Racing Team (CBRT) kick off will see them racing in three different provinces over the next three weeks. That hectic stretch begins this weekend with a first time visit for McColm to the 2.114 mile 14 turn Circuit ICAR in Mirabel, Quebec.

On Sunday we reached a milestone of 700 Consecutive nights racing. It was a great day for our team celebration wise. We gave away over 400 Frisbee’s and 4 kids bikes. The track promoters were gracious to us and the fans awesome and excited to get a Frisbee and see two girls and two boys win bikes. Two bikes were for children up to 5 and two for girls and boys us to 12.

As The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 heads into the third event of the 2014 season at Circuit ICAR, Mirabel Quebec, the second of four road-course events on the schedule, Alex Tagliani recalls the inaugural 2011 event very well!
