Behind the wheel of the #04 Bernier Crépeau/ Bellemare/ Manac/ ACASS, Jean-François Dumoulin will take part in the event of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series on the ICAR road circuit in Mirabel this weekend.
Strongly positioned in second place in the general rankings and having secured a podium in 2013, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin is intent on repeating his successful experience this year behind the wheel of the #47 Dodge WeatherTech Canada / Bellemare Group on the ICAR circuit of Mirabel this upcoming July 6 for the "Jiffy Lube 100" event, presented by La Petite Bretonne.
It took only 30-laps for third-generation standout Cayden Lapcevich to assert himself as an OSCAAR Modified Tour frontrunner. The former Quarter Midget standout – driving for car owner Terry Baker – slipped past Davey Terry late in June 29th's event at Sunset Speedway, capturing his first ever tour victory.
Former Sunset Speedway Ltd. Late Model champion Kevin Cornelius made the most of his return home, capturing his first career Don Biederman Memorial title in a pair of head-turning performances June 28th & 29th.
Night 1 defending Biederman Champion Dwayne Baker looked like he was ready to add his name to the trophy for a second time. After starting 3rd in the 50 lap feature event it took the #48 till lap 30 to wrestle the lead away from the #17 of Cornelius. The next 20 laps was all #48 up front to record his first feature win of 2014 and putting the pressure on the rest of the field to wrestle the overall championship away from him. Kevin Cornelious placed a strong 2nd.
The start of the first 30 lap feature event saw the #47 of Brian McLean and #7 of Brent McLean lead the field to green. Both teams have suffered some bad luck in the past few weeks and both were looking to score their first victory of the 2014 season. Brian got the jump on Brent and lead for the first 3 laps of the event. Fourth starting #26 of Terry Baker quickly moved up from his fourth starting sport to take the lead on lap four.

The third-generation takes to the track three times this week, which open the 15-race month for the best sprint car drivers in the world.
After battling ill-handling issues at Barrie Speedway, Tyler Hawn was hoping to find the right handle to get around the 3/8-mile known as Sunset Speedway. The Hawn Motorsports team worked hard throughout the weekend, posting a 15th and a 10th place finish in the pair of features.
