Pocono Raceway announced today Charlie Shaver, Chairman and CEO of Axalta Coating Systems, as the Grand Marshal for the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday, June 7th.

Pocono Raceway announced today a multi-year extension of their partnership with Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) as the ‘Official Health Care Provider of Pocono Raceway.’ Additionally, as previously announced last week, the 50/50 raffle being hosted at the Raceway during the upcoming Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 race weekend will benefit the Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

The United States Army Chorus Quartet will sing the national anthem prior to the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

Fans who want to experience the sights and sounds of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series roaring around Darlington Raceway before the Bojangles’ Southern 500 on Labor Day weekend might want to pay a visit to the famed South Carolina track on Wednesday, June 10.

Pocono Raceway announced today a partnership with Coca-Cola Refreshments as Coca-Cola becomes the “Official Soft Drink of Pocono Raceway,” Dasani becomes the “Official Water of Pocono Raceway” and Monster Energy becomes the “Official Energy Drink of Pocono Raceway.” These products, along with Sprite, Diet Coke and Coke Zero, will be available at concession stands throughout the raceway for all upcoming NASCAR and INDYCAR events, including the upcoming Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 race weekend.

Jimmie Johnson’s had better days at Dover. He’s had days when he’s led nearly 300 laps; he’s had days when he started from the pole and drove to the win. Pocono Raceway, one of the most ‘unique’ superspeedways in motorsports, and Unique Pretzels, the original producers of a split-open pretzel, have agreed to a multi-year extension of their existing partnership. Unique will continue to serve as the “Official Pretzel of Pocono Raceway” with their products available for race fans at multiple concession areas during Pocono’s three major motorsports events, including the upcoming Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 race weekend, June 5-7.
