From rookies without a lap on the track to tried and true veterans, 11 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers spent 10 hours testing at Martinsville Speedway Tuesday in preparation for the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500 Powered by Kroger on October 27.

Phoenix International Raceway announced today that tickets for the 10th Annual SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend Feb. 28-March 2, 2014 are now available for purchase. Fans have access to a variety of ways to purchase tickets for the exciting action-packed NASCAR weekend at PIR.

Workers put the final touches on Martinsville Speedway’s new race-morning Party Plaza this week in plenty of time for a morning of fun before the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500 Powered by Kroger on October 27.

The Party Plaza is ready for the pre-race party to take the green flag.

Joey Logano was responsible for part of it, winning his fourth consecutive NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Monster Mile when he took the checkered flag for the “5-Hour ENERGY 200 benefiting Living Beyond Breast Cancer.” By doing so, he became the first driver to win four NASCAR Nationwide Series races at the Monster Mile and the first driver to win four consecutive races in any series whatsoever at Dover.

One of the most recognizable structures in all of motorsports today received a new addition, as the Monster Monument in Victory Plaza at Dover International Speedway now features a “Gen 6” Toyota Camry in the Monster’s hand, just in time for the Sept. 27-29, 2013 NASCAR race weekend.

Race fans will discover new restrooms and a new concession stand along the concourse in the first-turn area of Martinsville Speedway when they arrive for the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500 Powered by Kroger.

The roar of NASCAR Sprint Cup engines will be filling the air at Martinsville Speedway this fall long before the green flag falls on the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500 Powered by Kroger on October 27.

Guests recently took advantage of a special opportunity to take a behind the scenes tour at Michigan International Speedway. They learned how NASCAR’s fastest track operates not only for a race, but also what happens all year long.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has learned quite a bit in his first full year racing in the Sprint Cup Series but he knows some lessons remain this season, especially at the circuit’s shortest track.
