Country music superstar Luke Bryan will drive the pace car for Sunday’s Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway.

Race fans will have a new alternative to hotels when it comes to race weekend accommodations this fall at Dover International Speedway, with the addition of an all-new camping program for the Sept. 27-29, 2013 race weekend.

U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient David Balestrino Jr. has been named honorary starter for the Pure Michigan 400 being held this Sunday, August 18, at Michigan International Speedway. Balestrino was the winner of a fan contest on the Pure Michigan Facebook page, receiving the highest number of votes for his entry on why he wanted to wave the green flag on race day.

Once again proving NASCAR is one of the fan-friendliest sports in America, NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers Travis Pastrana, Elliott Sadler and Trevor Bayne, along with 2014 NASCAR Hall of Fame Inductee, Jack Ingram, will sign autographs for fans attending the Virginia529 College Savings 250 race at Richmond International Raceway on Friday, September 6. Additional drivers are expected to be added to the lineup.

Award-winning Southern rock/country band Blackberry Smoke will headline the Turn 5 Concert Series near Martinsville Speedway during the Goody’s™ Headache Relief Shot™ 500 Powered by Kroger weekend.

Defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski and current top-10 driver Greg Biffle are the special guests in Richmond International Raceway’s 3-Wide fan hospitality on Saturday, September 7 prior to the Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event – “One Last Race to Make The Chase.”

Summer is almost over. Fall is around the corner. Before we know it, the Goody’s™ Headache Relief Shot™ 500 Powered by Kroger will be roaring into view.

Ryan Newman is back in victory lane and Martinsville Speedway fans will be the big winners this week. Newman rolled to a big NASCAR Sprint Cup victory over Jimmie Johnson Sunday afternoon. It was Newman’s first victory since he won the Goody’s 500 in the spring of 2012.

Fans have until Monday, August 5th to take advantage of ticket specials for the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR night race weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Offers include a free Sunday pre-race pit pass in addition to being able to purchase two front stretch tickets for $99.

Texas Motor Speedway's "Speeding To Help" program will undertake four volunteer projects, including two involving cities that continue to rebuild from tragedies that struck their communities earlier this year, for four consecutive weeks beginning Wednesday.
