Denny Hamlin took the long way to his second straight win in the Kroger 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway Saturday afternoon.

David Ragan went back to school Thursday afternoon, but not to study. He visited Patrick Henry Elementary School in Martinsville to help reward over 70 students who had successfully completed Martinsville Speedway’s Read Your Way to the Race program.

The drama of cable television's "Dallas" collides with the drama of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup as cast members of the popular television show will serve as grand marshals for the AAA Texas 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race Sunday, Nov. 4, at Texas Motor Speedway.

In addition to all of the TUMS Fast Relief 500 on-track action this weekend, there are many opportunities for fans to have fun at and around the track when the engines are quiet.

Martinsville Speedway may be a short track, but fans travel long distances to catch Sunday’s TUMS Fast Relief 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

Talladega Superspeedway is currently accepting applications for Fan Advisory Network (FAN) members. The TSS FAN was established in 2010 to gain insight on race fan interactions with the track, from the ticket buying process all the way through to the exit procedures after a race. Race fans that would like to participate in the Fan Advisory Network are encouraged to download an application at www.talladegasuperspeedway.com/tssfan.

On Saturday, Oct. 27, at 9 a.m. (ET), race fans will have their first opportunity to purchase tickets for the 55th annual Coke Zero 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday, July 6 – one of NASCAR’s most exciting nighttime races of the season.

Following the success of an ongoing partnership to positively impact the environment while benefitting science, technology and math education, Michigan International Speedway and Adrian College have developed plans for a first-of-its kind science center and science-related field trips at NASCAR’s fastest racetrack.

Fans attending the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race weekend at Phoenix International Raceway will be treated to hearing from some of NASCAR’s top drivers prior to the action on the track Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10-11.
