The green flag will drop on the 2nd annual Joey Coulter Karting Challenge on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 6 p.m. The annual event features a two hour endurance kart race at GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville and benefits the Darrell Gwynn Foundation (DGF), and is made possible by Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff, Arthur Krenzel Lett Insurance Group, Edgehill Management Group and Carolinas HealthCare System. Fans are invited to come out and cheer on their favorite NASCAR driver as 22 teams challenge for bragging rights – champions of the cup!

FIRST CHASE CUTOFF CLOSING IN: The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Dover International Speedway this weekend will mark the last race before the first of three cutoffs in the Chase for the Sprint Cup Series championship -- new to the series this year. Camry Chase drivers Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Matt Kenseth are all looking to advance to the 'Contender Round' of the Chase with solid finishes this weekend at Dover.

Red Horse Racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway... In 16 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Red Horse Racing has earned one win (Timothy Peters, 2013), four top-five and eight top-10 finishes.

Ben Kennedy has never made a start at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval in any series, but Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) knows its way to Victory Lane: Nelson Piquet Jr. took the win in the 2012 event at the track. Kennedy also knows his way around intermediate tracks in the NCWTS, earning four of his seven-career top-10 finishes at tracks between one and two miles in length.

Following an impressive NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut last month at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Cameron Hayley made his return to the No. 32 Cabinets by Hayley Chevrolet Silverado to take on New Hampshire Motor Speedway, finishing just outside of the top five in his second-career NCWTS start.

Ben Kennedy was looking to follow up last weekend's top-10 finish with another solid run in the Heater.com Chevrolet, but his momentum was stalled by a broken stud in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' (NCWTS) return to New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
