Johnny Sauter won Friday nights NASCAR Camping World Truck Series WinStar World Casino 350 at Texas Motor Speedway. Sauter took over the lead with 11 laps remaining and captured his second win of the season (both at Texas) and the sixth of his career.

Halfway through Saturday’s Kroger 200 at Martinsville the championship hopes of James Buescher were slowing slipping away. Buescher was dropping through the field and soon a lap down as his No. 31 Great Clips Chevrolet refused to grip the racetrack.

HALF-MILE HAPPENINGS: Camry driver Kyle Busch registered a runner-up result in Sunday afternoon's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Virginia's Martinsville Speedway. It was announced today that Miguel Paludo's red No. 32 Chevrolet Silverado will sport a different look in the upcoming NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races at Texas Motor Speedway and Phoenix International Raceway, switching to a special blue paint scheme in honor of World Diabetes Day.
