As the action on-track heats up with NASCAR’s postseason set to begin, NASCAR, Sprint and Turner Sports announced today the launch of the sport’s first official app for iPhone and iPod Touch. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile App allows fans to follow their favorite drivers and stay on top of all the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race action, including access to race day content, schedules, standings, breaking news and more.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series rookie Ross Chastain returns to the Iowa Speedway for American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee on Saturday evening. The NCWTS last raced at the track just east of Des Moines, Iowa back in June and Ross and the SS Green Light Racing team finished sixteenth; he and the entire team are looking for a better run in the Watermelon.org / Magnuson Hotels Toyota when the trucks hit the pavement in Iowa on Saturday night.

Jason White on Iowa: “Iowa is a very unique track and one that can be challenging for both the driver and the crew. The handling of your truck needs to be just right at Iowa or you will struggle a little bit all night in the race. In our first race at the track earlier this year, we battled that handling a little bit as we just couldn’t get that right balance we needed on our truck. That resulted in us having to battle all night and really fight for everything we could get.”

RAM DRIVER QUOTES “I’ve been to Iowa a few times the last couple years with the K&N and Nationwide cars. I’ve got a good idea about that racetrack and I really like it. It’s an awesome facility and the racing is always really good there. I think it’s a neat track to go back to and I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully, we can run well in our Cooper Standard RAM. Luckily, we have a night practice on Friday so we can do all our race runs there and get a good idea of what it’ll do at night. MB Motorsports and the #65 LG SEEDS Ford is set to return to Iowa Speedway with Justin Jennings for the American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee. Jennings made his Nascar Camping World Truck Series debut at the .875 mile track last July.

TOYOTA TIDBITS RICHMOND REWIND: Clint Bowyer earned his second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) win of the season in Saturday night's rain-delayed race at Richmond International Raceway, the final event before the start of the 10-race 'Chase for the Sprint Cup' championship. Bowyer's triumph also marked the third consecutive victory by a Toyota driver -- after Denny Hamlin's back-to-back wins at Bristol Motor Speedway (Aug. 25) and Atlanta Motor Speedway (Sept. 2). Bowyer led the final 88 laps (of 400) in the Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) No. 15 5-hour ENERGY Toyota Camry en route to victory lane.

Second Chance at Iowa... Cale Gale and the No. 33 Rheem team had a fast Chevrolet and a strong run during their last trip to Iowa Speedway, but late-race contact resulted in a 26th-place finish for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender.

Justin Lofton, driver of the No. 6 Lofton Cattle Chevrolet Back to America's Heartland... Justin Lofton and the No. 6 Lofton Cattle team will return to Iowa Speedway after finishing fifth in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at the 0.875-mile speedway just two months ago. Lofton rolled off third in the American Ethanol 200 and spent the majority of the evening racing inside the top five as the Lofton Cattle team utilized caution periods to fine-tune the handling of their Chevrolet.

Ben Reynolds descends upon Newton, Iowa this week as he and his Reynolds Racing team prepare for their second run at the American Ethanol 200 on Saturday, September 15. Qualifying for the race begins at 6:00 p.m. EDT, with the race following at 8:00 p.m. The American Ethanol 200 will be televised on SPEED.

John Wes Townley will pilot RAB Racing Chassis No. 47 in Saturday's American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway. This is the same Zaxby's Tundra that Townley raced to a 20th-place finish at Rockingham Speedway in April.
