Justin Lofton, driver of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) No.6 Chevrolet currently sits fourth in the series standings with one win, four top-5 and nine top-10 finishes, gave me the opportunity to talk to him and ask a couple of questions.

With the Camping World Truck Series and Sprint Cup Series heading to the 2 mile Michigan International Speedway and the Nationwide Series at the road course of Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, there are many headlines to watch as the championship picture is becoming more and more relevant each weekend.

TOM DELOACH, owner, Red Horse Racing How did the addition of Parker Kligerman at Red Horse come about? "It was quite a surprise. I was at an airport getting ready to take off for a vacation trip. I get this call from Parker (Kligerman) and he says, 'Hey, I need to talk to you about something. Brad (Keselowski) and I have decided to go our separate ways. You got a ride? Could I get in that Red Horse truck?

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Ross Chastain and the SS Green Light Racing team will join thirty-five other competitors this weekend as the NCWTS begins the second half of the twenty-two race 2012 season. Saturday, the truckers travel to the Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan for the VFW 200 at the freshly repaved 2-mile Michigan International Speedway.

Round Two for the New Chassis: Heading back to Michigan International Speedway (MIS) for the second time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and for just the third time in his career, Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 98 EverFi Toyota Tundra team will once again have the confidence of bringing a new truck to the track.

Seeking to become the first father-son pair to win a race in NCWTS history. Father Bob won the 1997 event at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway behind the wheel of his No. 29 RAM. The elder Keselowski finished 3.059 seconds ahead of second-place Jack Sprague and led the race twice for 82 of 200 laps, the most of any driver.

Racing at Michigan International Speedway... Justin Lofton will race at Michigan International Speedway for the third time in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) career this weekend in the No. 6 Lofton Cattle Chevrolet Silverado. In addition to his NCWTS experience on the 2.0-mile oval, Lofton has one NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start and two starts in the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Racing Series.

Taking on the Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway... Cale Gale will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday afternoon, August 18. The Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender currently has two NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) and two Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Racing Series starts at the two-mile oval.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads from the Pocono mountains to the Irish Hills of Michigan for the VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway. Paludo has one previous start at the 2.0-mile D-shaped oval. In 2011, Paludo started ninth and finished third, which remains his career-best NCWTS finish.

Jason White on Michigan: “We all know that Michigan is a wide and fast race track. But the new pavement has taken it to a whole new level as we saw with the Cup cars. We were lucky enough to test there at the Goodyear tire test recently and there is so much grip in the track which really allows the truck to handle through the corners. Michigan has always been a horsepower track and we have an awesome engine package from Roush Yates Engines and that will play a crucial part for us this weekend. I think the groove on the new pavement will widen out as the race goes on and we will very likely have an awesome three-wide finish.”
